How Artistic Floors Do The Microtopping Floors?
Grinding The Surface
Using machines and pads, grind all surfaces; if necessary, apply self-leveling flooring.
Removing Grinding Dust
It's the stage before start the primer coat.
Apply The Primer Coat
On the entire surface, primer made of acrylic or polymer is applied. It helps the microtopping adhere to the work surface better.
Prepare Microtopping Mixture
It's a sensitive stage which required an experience of the material nature due to every microtopping/microcement manufacturers material components.
Apply The First Coat
From 500 to 600 microns, the first coat is applied (0.5–0.6 mm). It adds texture to the finished appearance.
Sanding The First Coat Surface
After finishing the first coat of microtopping we start sanding all surface to be ready for the second coat.
Apply The Second Coat
Once we finish sanding for the first coat and removing the dust we start the second coat applying.
First Coat of Sealer
After sanding the second coat of microtopping, Artistic Floors begins the first coat of sealer.
Second Coat of Sealer
The final coat of microtopping flooring is the second coat of sealer.
